We are rehearsing Mozart with Seollyeon Konwitschny Eggenfelden at the Theater an der Rott.
With Michi Gaigg and the „L’Orfeo Baroque Orchestra“ there will be an exciting premiere on February 20th:
The scenic performance in German language authorized by the composer of the famous „La Finta Giardiniera“ – „Die verstellte Gärtnerin“.
I will sing cavalier Ramiro who loves his Arminda – and like all characters in this opera he will have to go through ntanglements and confusions through the distracting garden of love and will have to find his way.
Mozart was just 19 years old when composing this music (!) –
which is simply brilliant, moving and touching.
